Aventuras Akumal provides nice relaxing days in the beach lounge sunning and watching pelicans pass overhead.  Snorkeling along the reef you may see our resident Black Mantaray or the resident sea turtles who swim near the adventerous snorkeler. 

Sea kayaking is always fun when a wave can be caught at just the right time.  Visit the nearby Tulum ruins, or spend an all inclusive day at a Xel-Ha a real natural wonder.  Chichen Itza is just a day trip away, with a short 2:15 drive leaving early and arriving back after dinner around 6.  Remember the to stop in at the different Cenotes, Nature tours with Sian Kaan tour guides that specialize in professional and fun bird watches along with kayaking down Maya waterways.
