From Cancun airport to Aventuras Akumal, you need to take highway 307 south, approximately 60 miles (100 KMs). You will see a sign to the Akumal resort (a white cement wall on the left side of the road).

Approximately 2 miles (3.2 KMs) further south on the left side, you will see a large concrete sign Aventuras Akumal. Move to the right hand shoulder and when the road is clear, makea left turn into Aventuras Akumal.

On your way if you would like to stop for groceries you can see a large store, called "Chedraui", off the highway at the 2nd entrance to Playa del Carmen. It is well worth the stop so you do not have to return, the store is open until 12 PM.

AKUMAL is 25 minutes south of Playa del Carmen. On the left you will see a white façade saying Club Akumal Caribe on it.

SOUTH AKUMAL is just passed Akumal. 

AVENTURAS AKUMAL is 2 miles from Akumal. Passed South Akumal you will come to Oasis Aventuras Akumal, pass their entrance and start slowing down. You will see a concrete entry-way with Aventuras Akumal painted on the wall. It is a dirt road so take your time. Mayan Sands Rentals office is in U Nah Kin condominiums.

TANKAH is another 12 minutes south on the highway.

TULUM is 18 minutes from Aventuras Akumal.
